US seizes record US$3.6 billion in bitcoin stolen from Hong Kong Bitfinex exchange

2022/02/09 SCMP — 1月28日に米司法省 (Justice of Department) は、2016年に香港の仮想取引所から盗まれたうちの、94,000 Bitcoin (US$3.6 billion) 以上を回収したと発表した。同省によると、この Bitcoin のロンダリングの疑いで、二人の容疑者がニューヨークで逮捕された。Ilya Lichtenstein (34歳） と妻の Heather Morgan (31歳) は、この容疑で連邦裁判所に出廷し、裁判官から保釈を認められた。
